During my recent visit to Tehran I tried to photograph something for the first time also at Imam Khomeini International Airport, which is served only by international flights. Unfortunately, the sun did not honour my risk and in crucial moments was hidden behind clouds.
Although officially declared as "stored", this Boeing 747-100 that years ago circled around the world with Iran Air, hosts only flocks of birds on the outskirts of Imam Khomeini International Airport today and its fate seems to be sealed.
