During my recent visit to Tehran I tried to photograph something for the first time also at Imam Khomeini International Airport, which is served only by international flights. Unfortunately, the sun did not honour my risk and in crucial moments was hidden behind clouds.
This aircraft returned to its original home base after five years the next day after being commissioned with Mahan Air. It originally flew from 1996 to 2019 with Turkish Airlines as TC-JDM. Then it was shut down in JNB to be moved to Iran via two fictitious registrars. It flew here for the first time on 19.3.2024.
